FOOD & COOKING POLICIES
Please read and follow these policies carefully to ensure a pleasant experience for all guests.
Cooking & Grilling
- No cooking in rooms: Cooking is not allowed in guest rooms. We do not allow cooked food inside any of the rooms/sleeping areas.
- Day use huts: We can set up a grill for a fee of P200 per grilling pan if you're using/renting a day use hut.
- No outside cooking equipment: We do not allow bringing of outside cooking/grilling equipment.
- Cooking service: If the resort kitchen is not busy, you may have meat or fish cooked for a fee of P250/kg.
Bringing Outside Food & Utensils
- If you bring food, also bring your own plates, utensils, charcoal, etc.
- Borrowing items from Hale Manna comes with additional fees per item.
Clean As You Go
- In-house guests may arrange use of our picnic tables during their stay (huts for day users usually include a table already), but need to clean up afterward rather than leaving this to the staff.
- If our staff is required to clean after you, a service fee may apply.
Garbage Disposal
- Please be mindful of your food waste and garbage.
- Do not use room sinks to clean dishes and strictly no throwing of food scraps down the toilet as these cause clogging and other plumbing problems.
- For outside food waste, please bring your trash with you when you go.
Important: Failure to follow these conditions will result in additional penalties as it adds extra work for our staff, plus repair and maintenance costs.

What are your restaurant hours?
Our kitchen is open from 7AM to 8PM daily. However, if no guests are staying for dinner on a particular day, the restaurant may close early. Early breakfasts and late dining are available by advance request.
Is breakfast included with my room?
Yes, beginning January 2026, all room rates include breakfast. If you made a booking before January 1, 2026, most rooms will also have breakfast, with the exception of the Barkada Rooms. If you'd like to upgrade your booking to the with-breakfast rate, please just get in touch with us.
Is breakfast at Hale Manna plated or buffet?
To avoid food wastage as part of our efforts to be more sustainable, we offer breakfast buffet if 20 or more persons are dining in for breakfast on a particular day. If the number of guests having breakfast does not reach 20 pax, we offer set breakfasts. For our set breakfasts, you would choose 1 viand, either pancakes with syrup or bread with butter and jam, eggs, rice, and a drink, plus fresh fruit.
Can I bring my own food to Hale Manna?
Yes, you may bring your own food. However, you must bring your own plates, utensils, and charcoal if grilling. We do not provide these items for outside food. A "clean as you go" policy applies, and food waste must be taken with you when you leave. And while snacks and drinks are OK, especially if these are covered or sealed, cooked food should not be stored in the room overnight, as this can attract pests or cause lingering smells.
Can I cook in my room?

Is grilling available at the beach huts?
Yes! For day use beach huts, we offer a grill set up for a fee of P200 per grilling pan. Please bring your own charcoal if you plan to grill.
Where can I dine at Hale Manna?
You can enjoy your meals at our main house patio dining area or patio extension areas. A 10% service charge may apply for dining service outside these areas.
Do you have Handuraw Pizza?
Yes! Handuraw Pizza is available at Hale Manna upon request. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to order pizza during your stay.
Can I wash dishes in my room sink?
No. Room sinks are for personal hygiene only. Please do not wash dishes in room sinks or dispose of food scraps in toilets, as this damages our plumbing and septic system.
Do you accommodate special dietary requirements?
Yes, we can accommodate special dietary requests. Please inform us of any dietary requirements or food allergies in advance so our kitchen can prepare accordingly. Contact us before your arrival to discuss your needs.
