OUR PET POLICY

Dear Pet-Loving Guests,

Thank you for choosing Hale Manna for your vacation!

For the health, comfort, and safety of all guests, we require your adherence to our Pet Policy below. For questions or concerns, please feel free to send us an inquiry via our Facebook page (fb.com/halemanna)  or our email (stay@halemanna.com).

PET POLICY

1. Allowed pets: (1) small dogs under 15kg; (2) domestic or house cats, regardless of weight; (3) birds or rabbits if these will be kept in cages or carriers at all times. Dogs and cats must have complete and updated vaccinations, proof of which must be sent to Hale Manna prior to arrival or check-in.

2. Prohibited pets: rodents such as, but not limited to, mice and guinea pigs, fish, reptiles, and amphibians.

3. Bringing of pets must be arranged at least three (3) days before your scheduled arrival or check-in.

4. A maximum of two (2) pets per day-use group is allowed. For overnight guests, please see the allowed number of pets per room:
  • Rooms in Main House: 1 pet per room
    • Superior Twin Rooms 1 and 2
    • Superior Queen Rooms 3 and 4
    • Family Rooms 5, 6, and 7
  • Superior Twin Rooms 9 and 10: 1 pet per room, but only if the guests will be taking both rooms; otherwise, the rooms are not eligible for bringing of pets
  • All other rooms: 2 pets per room
    • Ohana Seaview Cottage 1
    • Ohana Seaview Rooms 2 and 3
    • Barkada Rooms 8 and 11
    • All Family Rooms with Kitchen (Ylang-Ylang, Kamuning, Champaca, and Dama de Noche Rooms)

5. Non-Refundable Pet Fees: P950.00/pet/stay for overnight guests or P450.00/pet for day use. For guests who bring pets without prior arrangement, the rate is P1,500/pet/stay or P1000/pet for day use.

Guests bringing pets in non-eligible rooms may be asked to change their booking to an eligible room; if no eligible rooms are available, the reservation may be canceled, or guests may be asked to remove their pets. Guests bringing pets that do not fit the criteria of allowed pets (e.g., outside size limits) may also be asked to cancel their stays. If a booking is canceled for this reason, a P2000/room/night cancellation fee will apply.

6. Pet Security Deposit: P2,000.00/pet/stay, which must be paid before or upon arrival. The deposit shall cover any damage to the room or other areas of the resort that your pet may have caused. Any unused or excess deposit shall be returned or deducted from your final bill upon check out after our staff’s final inspection.
 
Damages caused by pets include, but are not limited to, extra cleaning that may be required, stained or ripped linens or rugs, scratches on the floor or furniture, replacement of any items that have been broken or used inappropriately, and loss of income from the room being unavailable due to repairs or cleaning.
 
7. By bringing your pet to Hale Manna, you are guaranteeing that your pet is: within the size limits established (under 15kg for dogs); fully vaccinated; healthy, that is, has not been sick in the past seven (7) days; free of ticks and fleas; clean and well-groomed; and not in heat or estrus (having their period).
 
8. Pets must not be left unattended, either in the rooms or the common/public areas. Should you need to leave your pet alone in your room, it must be placed in a crate or fenced area, and this should be no longer than six to eight (6-8) hours. Guests are required to bring their own pet equipment as these will not be provided by Hale Manna. Pet equipment includes, but is not limited to:
  • Pet crates, fences, or beds
  • Pet food
  • Pet toiletries (including towels for pet use) and clothes, leashes, etc.
  • Other pet-related belongings or equipment
 
9. Pets are prohibited in the following areas:
  • swimming pools, surrounding pool area, and changing rooms
  • main beach access area (where guests can borrow equipment such as life vests, beach shoes, and snorkels).
 
10. When outside the room, pets must be carried by their owners or in a carrier or on leash at all times.

11. Pet owners shall be responsible for their pets’ behavior and safety. Any waste or accidents must be cleaned up and disposed of by the owner in disposable bags. Pets are not allowed in the bathroom sinks or any of the public bathing areas.
 
12. Pet owners will need to address any complaints related to their pets made by other guests promptly. Noise must be confined to the room; barking dogs in the public area may be requested to be brought to their rooms. Further offenses may result in the guest being asked to leave.
 
13. Hale Manna will do its best to remove stray dogs and cats from the public areas that may still come in, especially by way of the beach at low tide. As Hale Manna has been advised that the only solutions local authorities and other services can offer is culling these animals, Hale Manna has opted for the humane approach and request that you make sure to keep your pet away from the strays.
 
14. Neither Hale Manna nor its employees would be liable for any loss, injuries, or illness of pets during or after your visit.

15. Failure to comply with the conditions above may result in additional penalties/fees or in the immediate cancellation of your room reservation. Hale Manna reserves the right to ask guests to leave if their pets prove too unruly or noisy. If your pet should at any point be considered dangerous by Hale Manna or its employees, you must immediately remove it from the resort.
 
16. Further updates to this pet policy may be made. Guests booking far ahead of their stay dates may wish to review the pet policy a week or two before their stay at www.halemanna.com/pet-policy.html

Guests will be required to sign an agreement form on-site, or pre-filled up via digital signature and online submission.

Hale Manna means “House of Good Energy”. This is a private home, but we are most happy to share it with environmentally-conscious and respectful people like you. Help us keep it that way!
